Here is an overview of our grooming packages which can be tailored depending on the breed and individual needs of your dog.

  • The Full Works

The Complete Pamper Package for Styled Dogs

"The Full Works Package" is tailored to each individual dog’s requirements.

Starting with a health check, we then follow with a Bath, Brush & Blow-dry. Your dog will then benefit from a Complete Clip, Cut & Style as discussed with the dog’s human.

All packages include a complimentary facial, ear clean, nail trim and paw balm.

  • Maintenance Grooming

    The Essential Services In-between Grooms

A Perfect solution to maintain your dog’s beautiful coat.

Starting (as always) with a health check, we begin a soothing Bath, Brush & Blow-dry to freshen up the skin & coat.

You can also opt for a light trim up around the face, feet & hygiene area to improve visibility for your dog and prevent any knots or matts forming in the coat.

Complimentary facial, ear clean, nail trim and paw balm as standard!

  • Puppy Introduction Grooms

From 12 to 20 weeks old

The Puppy Intro is an essential service for your pet so they can get used to grooming as young as possible (ideally as soon as vaccinations are complete).

By starting regular sessions from 12 weeks onwards, it can become a very pleasurable and enjoyable experience, especially if they are a breed that will require a lifetime of grooming.

  • The Deshed

The Complete Pamper Package for Double-Coated Dogs

Specialists in this coat type, we have many years experience in handling sled dogs and all other double coated breeds.

Starting with a health check, we then follow with a Bath, Brush & Blow-dry. We then remove (or deshed) any loose undercoat. We can scissor trim paw pads, feet and furnishings if appropriate.

We do not offer a clipping/shaving service for this coat type.

All packages include a complimentary facial, ear clean, nail trim and paw balm.

  • Spa Treatments

    Additional services for all breeds

At DogzBody Spa, we offer the following additional services:

    • Dead Sea Mudbath – perfect for moulting coats and dry skin.

    • Deep conditioning for Damaged Coats – If your dog has a brittle coat that lacks moisture, we have a keratin treatment to strengthen the hair follicle and encourage growth.

    • Nagayu Spa Treatment – Great for bad smells (yeast), hot spots, itchy skin, hair loss and general hair/skin health.

FAQs

  • Here’s how the DogzBody Spa team ensures your dog enjoys a positive, totally paw-some grooming experience.

    • As soon as your dog arrives, they’re led into our outdoor garden space where they can sniff, go to the toilet, and begin to destress. The groomer will be there to assess your dog’s needs and undertake a mini-health check in order to select the correct products and processes for the groom.

    • Once your dog has had a chance to decompress, they’re taken to be bathed. They get the full spa treatment with Mutneys professional grooming products; washed and conditioned with a specialist treatment to suit their breed and coat.

    • Afterwards, your pup is carefully dried in order to avoid “hot spots”, where moisture gets trapped and agitates the skin. Not everyone is a fan but our versatile equipment means we can turn the dryer down low for sensitive pups.

    • For their brush, cut and nail trim, your dog is led to one of our spacious grooming suites. Hair is brushed with specialist tools and equipment, fur is snipped and sheared according to your dog’s unique grooming needs, and nails are carefully trimmed.

After all that pampering, your beautifully groomed pooch is led to our chillout area behind reception, ready to greet you when you arrive.

  • During your dog’s groom, our team perform ongoing assessments and health checks on your pup. This comes as standard with our dog grooming service and might include:

    • Asking you beforehand whether anything has changed about your dog’s health or behaviour and monitoring their condition during the groom.

    • Watching for physical issues such as discomfort with anal glands, difficulty with mobility, or evidence of arthritis.

    • Examining your dog’s teeth, mouth and ears, keeping an eye out for evidence of pain around the jaw and face.

We will always flag up any issues, concerns or changes so your dog can stay as healthy and happy as possible.

  • Dogs are sensitive animals and there can be any number of reasons why a dog doesn’t feel comfortable or safe being groomed.

Here’s why some dogs might need some extra care when it comes to grooming:

    • struggles with unfamiliar people or environments

    • had a negative grooming experience in the past

    • touch-averse or dislikes being handled or lifted

    • highly reactive around other dogs

    • particularly sensitive to loud or strange sounds

    • recovering from or dealing with an injury or illness

    • experienced abuse or neglect in the past.

Book a Meet and Treat

While some dogs love being groomed, others might feel a little bit wary – especially if it’s a new place with unfamiliar people.

For new clients, we invite you and your dog (or dogs if you’ve got a family pack!) to attend an optional Meet and Treat. This is a friendly meeting where we’ll chat about your dog and you can share any specific needs they might have.

While the humans are busy, the dog is left to sniff and explore. There’s plenty of treats on paw to help dogs begin to relax and build trust. There’s even a covered garden area to go to the toilet and catch up on their scent-based doggy social media!
